First of all, look at the quality of this trailer! This game continues to impress me with how much they are still doing with it. It is my favorite computer game to date. Nothing else has come even close.

Ok, let’s break this down. Based on this trailer and the announcement made on August 26th, it looks like the Warchief is a Beastmaster named Mielikki who happens to be blind. She has two seeing eye lynxes, because, why not? It looks like Brundr and Kaelinn scout with Mielikki and when she dies 6 spirit lynxes show up. So that’s awesome.

I was a little disappointed to see the fully grown lynxes spawn instead of having them come out as cubs and age as time goes on like Signy because mostly I just wanted to see baby lynxes.

It looks like the Lynx Clan have at least one special military unit, archers with flaming arrows. There was possibly a second military unit, some kind of shield bearer with a cape? Maybe they will have some sort of power up during winter like the Bear Clan. That would be a nice counter to the Bear’s Winter Festival and be one more clan who can combat Ox with their lack of winter coats.

I think we saw the lure ability in the trailer. There were big horned sheep involved and wolves so I’m hoping they will be another clan who receive food for hunting.

I will definitely be playing this clan on the 15th!
